Who I Am
Fairlington neighbor since 1981

Fairlington has been my home since 1981, and I am grateful to have raised my son in such a friendly, close-knit community.

I would like to give more time to the community we call home. Most importantly, I am committed to representing those that don’t feel heard. The vocal majority often drowns out the issues that matter most to many who have limited representation on the FV Board of Directors.

Your support would ensure I have a voice on the Board to address issues that matter most to you.

My commitment to you:

If elected, I will carry out my responsibilities with transparency and civility and reach compromise when viewpoints are vastly divergent. I am committed to making myself available and accountable to understand your concerns and to represent your interests.

If elected, these are the priorities I will actively push forward on the Board:

  • Landscaping — Balance with diversity and vibrancy throughout our grounds
  • Traffic Management & Safety — Several intersections are unsafe for pedestrians and pets. This needs to be fixed.
  • Ensure All Pools Remain Open — Keep every pool open and safe for residents to enjoy

Interior Renovation Committee — Co-Chair

Co-chairing the $6.4 million hallway redesign across all 173 buildings — from designer selection all the way through materials selection.

Pool Committee — Chair
  • Proactively obtained Fairlington's first robot pool cleaner for Pool 2 to keep it clean and free of leaves and debris
  • Proactively updated outdated pool rules with management
  • Increased signage at pools to facilitate the new rules
  • Proactively updated the electricity in all 6 pool houses so lifeguards can have a fan, refrigerator, and microwave available for their use
  • Listened to resident concerns and acted upon them — but there is more to accomplish
Grounds Committee — Member

Active member contributing to the care and planning of our shared green spaces and common areas.

Prior Fairlington Leadership & Volunteer Service
  • NAWG — Noise abatement working group, founder & member for the King Street corridor
  • Balcony Rules Committee — Revamped rules to allow individual expression with safety
  • Activities Committee — Provided logistical support for kids' and adult parties
